Stephen Twigg for West Derby

I have been selected by local Labour Party members to stand to become the next Member of Parliament for West Derby. It is a great honour to have this opportunity and I am spending my time meeting local residents, visiting community organisations and taking up local issues.

From the next General Election West Derby will consist of Croxteth, Knotty Ash, Norris Green, Tuebrook & Stoneycroft, West Derby and Yew Tree. The constituency includes Alder Hey and Broad Green hospitals and Croxteth Country Park.

West Derby Constituency Labour Party AGM

The West Derby Constituency Labour Party had an excellent turnout for the local party AGM held at the Marlborough Centre, Marlborough Road in Tuebrook on 22nd February.

Congratulations to Ged Taylor who is the new CLP Chair.

Cllr Louise Baldock spoke to us about Labour's policy priorities for the 2008 City Council elections.
